NDIS

What We do?

Not only do we provide exceptional support to our participants day to day, we also assist in helping you to work alongside the NDIS to have review meetings which we will attend with you.

What is the NDIS?

The NDIS started in Queensland on the 1st July 2016. It has provided a new way of funding individualised support, for people aged 0-65 years, who have a permanent and significant disability.

Each person eligible to participate in the NDIS will have an individual plan developed based on their needs now and their hopes, goals and aspirations for the future.  The core principle of the NDIS is individual choice and control over the disability services and supports used.

Will I have access to the NDIS?

To access the NDIS, people need to meet the following requirements:

  • Have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to take part in everyday activities
  • Aged less than 65 when first accessing the NDIS
  • An Australian citizen, a holder of a permanent visa, or a special category visa holder who is a protected SCV holder

Individuals may go to My Access Checker at myaccesschecker.ndis.gov.au to find out if they might be able to receive assistance from the Scheme.
